I enjoy writing creative nonfiction stories and fiction. Stories that explore a person's inner motivation and family relationships are among my favorites. Currently, I'm working on the prequel to Against the Tide, Callie and Joe's story. I hope to release it in 2025.

My memoir which traces my journey from Johns Island, South Carolina as I move up and down the east coast before settling Burlington, NC and my retirement from nursing.
My debut novel, set on an island outside Charleston, South Carolina, follows Callie, a widow, as she makes a new life for herself and her daughter while overcoming obstacles thrown in her way by 1970s society.
