I enjoy writing creative nonfiction and fiction. Stories that explore a person's inner motivation and family relationships are among my favorites.

I'm back actively working on Riptides: Book 2 of the Caines Island Stories. I hope to release it in the fall of 2025.
I'm also available to talk about writing to book clubs or other groups interested in writing.

Callie has lived her life according to the dictates of 1960's society. Tragedy occurs and Callie must find a way to remain on Caines Island.
Against the Tide is set on an island outside Charleston, South Carolina, follows Callie, a widow, as she makes a new life for herself and her daughter while overcoming obstacles thrown in her way by 1970s society.
My memoir which traces my journey from Johns Island, South Carolina as I move up and down the east coast before settling Burlington, NC and my retirement from nursing.
My creative nonfiction piece, "A Journey to Living" appears in the inaugural issue of LIGHT journal.
